Lisa has earned a Fine Arts degree from Lesley University College of Art and Design in Cambridge, MA, minoring in illustration and biology, in addition to being a graduate in Microbiology and Infectious Disease from the University of Texas at Austin. After gaining research experience in the Whiteley lab under Dr. Emily Nowicki, she is now currently working as a medical illustrator.
